What to do right now
A few things that help while you call us — but the sooner we see you, the better.
- Knocked-out adult tooth
- Hold it by the crown (not the root), gently place it back in the socket if you can, or keep it in milk — and call us immediately.
- Toothache
- Take your usual painkillers (paracetamol or ibuprofen, as directed) and rinse with warm salty water. Avoid very hot, cold or sugary food.
- Broken or chipped tooth
- Keep any pieces, rinse your mouth with warm water, and use a cold compress on the cheek to reduce swelling.
- Swelling on the face or gum
- Don’t ignore it — call us the same day. If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, go to A&E.
How it works
Fast, calm and straightforward when you need it most.
Call us
Ring 01732 353402 and tell us what’s happening — we’ll find you the earliest slot, usually the same day.
Reserve your appointment
Once availability is confirmed, pay £280 upfront to secure your weekday appointment.
Attend for treatment
We get you out of pain there and then, and treat the problem in the same visit where we can.
Plan any follow-up
If follow-up care is needed, we will explain the next steps and any future costs. The £280 includes first-stage root canal treatment when needed, not completion of the full course.

How much does an emergency appointment cost?
The £280 fee includes consultation, X-rays and all required treatment on the day: an extraction, a filling or first-stage root canal treatment, as clinically needed, plus antibiotics if required. What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe or lasting toothache, a knocked-out, broken or loose tooth, facial or gum swelling, a lost filling or crown, bleeding that won’t stop, or pain from a wisdom tooth. If you’re not sure, call us and we’ll advise.
I’m really nervous — can you still help?
Absolutely. Looking after anxious patients is what we do best. We’ll take it at your pace, explain everything gently and make sure you’re comfortable throughout.
